T & D Auto Repair

Norman and his team were super nice and professional. They resolved my tire issue that another shop had tried to fix. I plan to bring my car here from now on.

I brought my vehicle in to have the blower motor replaced. Before the repair, the HVAC controls worked properly and I could switch between A/C and heat without any issues. The day after picking up my vehicle, the switch stopped working entirely. When I contacted the shop, I was told the problem was unrelated to their work. Since the issue appeared immediately after the repair, I sought a second opinion from another mechanic. After inspecting the vehicle, they informed me that a cord associated with the HVAC controls had been damaged during the process of accessing and replacing the blower motor. What was most frustrating was not just the additional repair cost, but the refusal to take any responsibility or even seriously investigate the possibility that something may have happened during the original repair. Mistakes can happen, but accountability and customer service matter. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop.

I called this repair shop about an issue with my car, and the owner was extremely professional, honest, and informative. Instead of simply telling me to bring the car in and charging me for a diagnostic, he took the time to provide trustworthy advice and guidance over the phone. It’s refreshing to come across someone who values honesty and integrity over making a quick dollar. I truly appreciate the transparency and professionalism, and I wish him continued success.

Norman and the rest of the team did an amazing job fixing up my engine! New York rats are a problem so some of my wires were chewed up, resulting in the car not running. After several weeks of trying to find time to fit in a visit, I finally was able to get a day that worked for my schedule. The car was brought in during the morning and within several hours, the engine bay was cleaned and it was running again. Price was transparent and fair and I would definitely stick with this shop as my main for any future needs if they arise.

Ok this will be a really detailed review. As I want to give people the detailed experience and the attention and service I received. I was recommended by one of my friends because I was having an issue with my car running rough. After I got it towed here, the owner Norman spent a few days diagnosing and called me back and informed me my head gasket blew. This would require an engine rebuild and they can do it where they would put in a lot of brand new parts. The car sat at the shop for a few months as he really did take his time and wanted to give me the car back in as perfect condition as possible. He kept me up to date throughout the whole process and sent me photos as well to keep me informed. He changed one of my right tires, gave me a newer batter which is an AGM, also got my inspection done because it expired while it was in the shop. Also informed me of an issue that I can fix later down the road as well. All in all he was very honest and fair in pricing and everyone knows that is supremely hard to find in mechanics. These guys are reliable, friendly and informative. Every issue with my car he broke it down and explained to me how it should properly be operating. So even a
